A 'must have' anti virus tool. Grisoft Anti Virus product, (AVG), is FREE for personal use, and offers protection 24/7 for computers. It offers free updates, and e-mail protection as well as the standard protection it provides whilst it runs silently in the background, doing its thing. From the site menu select 'AVG Products', and then select 'free edition' from the drop menu. It's pretty easy to install and configure. They obviously have business products available to buy, should you need to protect multiple machines (not free, but worth every penny)

AntiVir FREE we rate this software - 7/10
AntiVir Anti Virus product, is FREE for personal use. Detects and removes more than 150,000 viruses. The resident Virus Guard serves to monitor file movements automatically, e.g. downloading of data from the internet, protection against trojans, worms, backdoors, pranks and other harmful programs. Internet-Update Wizard for easy updating. The only draw back is the instalation was in German (last time we looked), however there is an instalation guide in English, on their site.
